Journey in Design.
Childhood
Cultivating Curiosity
Even as a child I have enjoyed teardown of products more than using with them. There was always a curiosity to find out what makes products work and how to customize them to my desire.
My curiosity also helped me in being open to change, even if the cost was dismantling a new birthday gift.

Young Adult
Understanding Desire
Be it high school or undergrad college, I have always connected with geeky peers. There would always be conversations on a new gadget anyone of us has bought, or an iconic architecture such as what works, could been better or things to make it perfect.
The conversations would be very diverse, sometimes intense and it made me cognizant of the differences in the values people have based on their lives experience and environment.

Entrepreneurship
Facilitating Collaboration to Create Value.
I cofounded my own Architecture firm to deliver design services to people. With more experience I kept iterating my design process to translate peoples desires based on past experience and conversations.
I understood besides the design on paper its majorly about seamless collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to get a project to its completion stage.

Now
Rethinking Design
5 years of architectural practice exposed me to people from various backgrounds, and I realized there are several problems in people's life that felt more important to address compared to my architectural design work.
However, I felt I needed to learn how to translate these human problems to solutions, which brought me to the 'Institute of Design'.

Next
Addressing human needs
I would love to be an intermediary between data driven equitable solutions and the people. I am searching for an organization that is in pursuit of delivering value-based innovations creating largescale changes within the lives of people for the better.
